...and here it is on site in Gwangju

The back story: we were invited to take part in the Gwangju Design Biennale 2011, working alongside one of the curators, Beatrice Galilee.

Our response to the title & theme of the Biennale, design.is.design.is.not.design, was to develop a contribution to the Open Hardware debate in the form of an open source house prototype. Open Hardware is something we have also been involved in through our work on open source furniture for Techhub, Mint Digital's new London offices, and the Hub Westminster. For an early development see:

...and watch this space for further developments on the open source furniture front.

Meanwhile, WikiHouse.CC has been developed, collaborating with Momentum Engineering and Espians amongst others.

If you'd like to get involved or give us your feedback please feel free to drop us a line on hello@wikihouse.cc.
